Conversion of the floodlights on the SV Zeitlarn sports field to LED lighting

Title: KSI: Conversion of the existing floodlight system with mercury vapor lamps on the training pitches of the Sportverein Zeitlarn 1931 eV to LED technology

Period:

01.04.2021 - 31.03.2022

The Zeitlarn sports club has made a valuable contribution to climate and environmental protection as well as to energy savings by converting its floodlights.

The switch to modern LED technology was long overdue, as the old mercury vapor lamps will be banned in the near future for environmental reasons.

The LED lighting now guarantees 100% illumination of the two training pitches, which significantly improves training conditions. In addition, floodlit games can now also be played on the third pitch.

National Climate Protection Initiative

Since 2008, the Federal Environment Ministry has been initiating and promoting numerous projects through the National Climate Protection Initiative that contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Its programs and projects cover a broad spectrum of climate protection activities: from the development of long-term strategies to concrete assistance and investment support measures. This diversity is a guarantee for good ideas. The National Climate Protection Initiative helps to anchor climate protection locally. Consumers benefit from it, as do companies, municipalities and educational institutions.

Funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety based on a resolution of the German Bundestag.

Member of the Bundestag Peter Aumer visits SV Zeitlarn

The board of SV Zeitlarn Florian Bucher gave the Bundestag member for the city and district of Regensburg Peter Aumer and interested local councilors a tour of the sports field. The focus of Aumer's visit was the inspection of the floodlight system at the sports field, which was completed in August. Bucher presented this competently and was enthusiastic about the improvements in energy savings and lighting in the implementation of the project. The representative also looked at the curling rinks, which were renovated around four years ago, the 3-a-side pitch for youth soccer, which was renovated in 2019/2020, as well as the centerball facility and the new water connection from REWAG. At the centerball, Aumer couldn't resist taking a shot himself.

The visit came about because the federal government is providing a subsidy of 35 percent of the total cost of the new floodlight system and Aumer therefore wanted to find out more about the use of funds and the project process on site.

In this context, SV Zeitlarn would like to thank Many thanks to REWAG for the renewed and improved water connection at the access to the sports grounds in September.

SV Zeitlarn draws an excellent balance

Club The SV Zeitlarn AGM took place on Friday evening. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the club is doing very well.

Zeitlarn. The members of the Zeitlarn sports club looked back on two challenging years at the annual general meeting last Friday evening. The two suspensions of all games and training operations last year and the temporary resumption of sports operations under very strict guidelines were a challenge for everyone involved. "A huge thank you goes to all members who have remained loyal to the club during this extraordinary time and adapted to the year," says the chairman of the main club, Florian Bucher. There has been no loss of members due to the exceptional situation, he adds proudly. With almost 700 members and around 70 active trainers and supervisors in seven departments, the club is in excellent shape. A lot has also happened externally in the past two years. There have been several work assignments to maintain the sports grounds, including the renovation of the football training ground, the renewal of the floodlight system and the creation of a new connection for irrigation.

"Many thanks to all the board members who do so much for the club in the background," says Bucher. Thanks to the great help, the club has an excellent website and is always present on social media and in the newsletter. "A big thank you also goes to all the members who continue to volunteer for the club. That is not a given," says Bucher. He himself would be stepping down from his position today after three years due to time constraints and would no longer be available for election as a board member. "As the club is very close to my heart, I will of course continue to support the board," says Bucher.

After honoring Peter Bosl and Eduard Schmid for over 30 years of voluntary work at SVZ, there was a review of the individual departments.

Both the football and the tennis, table tennis and curling departments resumed their games and training last summer and this year under all necessary and prescribed hygiene guidelines. "Many thanks to all departments for the great effort and careful handling," said Bucher.

The women's gymnastics classes are also taking place again under the hygiene guidelines. Children's gymnastics and ski courses have been suspended since the beginning of the pandemic, but the two departments hope to continue at the end of the year.

All department heads thanked Bucher in detail for his consistently flawless cooperation. His outstanding work and tireless commitment to the club are definitely "worth a huge round of applause," said second board member Peter Kröninger. He is also not standing for re-election, but promises his support. The new elections are expected to take place again in November in the sports center. "I can also guarantee the future board the full support of the community," said Mayor Andrea Dobsch. It is a position with many tasks and high demands, but also with enormous recognition.

SV Zeitlarn relies on

Youth work: In all departments, great attention is paid to young talent. There is a lot on offer for the youth of the SVZ.

Suspension of the Annual General Meeting 2020

The board of the Zeitlarn 1931 eV sports club unanimously decided in its meeting on 27 September 2020 to postpone the convening of this year's annual general meeting due to the still uncertain pandemic situation on the basis of the COVID-19 law, as the corresponding requirements (notification on www.vereinsrechtstag.de from 01.05.2020) are fulfilled in their entirety:

Due to the membership structure of the SV, both a face-to-face event and a virtual general meeting are associated with high risks and disproportionate effort. The board will also remain in office until the next AGM, there are no urgent decisions pending and information about the main club activities in 2019 will be published at the end of the year on the club's website. www.sportverein-zeitlarn.de take place.

The audit for the year 2019 was carried out on October 10, 2020 by the two auditors Franz Kröninger and Klaus Sommer. The auditors confirm that the accounts are properly managed and approve the discharge of the board of directors. The discharge of the board of directors will be proposed by the auditors at the next annual general meeting.

A date for the next annual general meeting of the Sportverein Zeitlarn 1931 eV will be announced in good time.

Annual General Meeting 2019

Successful year at SVZ:
With commitment and financial support, the SVZ achieved a lot. Sporting success was inevitable.

Cohesion, commitment and ambition characterize the Zeitlarn sports club. Last year, the SVZ once again organized a number of successful events and brought home many sporting successes.
At the annual general meeting of the sports club, the members looked back together on the past sporting year.
“It’s great that so many people are interested in what we do here,” said chairman Florian Bucher, welcoming the 45 people present.
After a minute's silence for the deceased members, Bucher reported on the activities. A new board was elected at the last annual meeting. The result was a generational change and the implementation of a new structure. By distributing the tasks across several shoulders of the young and committed team, the focus was placed on marketing and public relations.

"So far, we have worked very well together both within the board and with the departments," confirms Bucher. For the first time, the main club held a sports party under the motto "SV Zack Goes 90s". With 250 visitors, it was a great success. The introduction of new club software for member administration, central account management and the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation are just some of what the board team has already been able to implement. With a new website and regular presence on social media and in the newsletter, the board is disseminating current information and dates. Promoting young talent is very important to the SV. In the future, it will work with the primary school and renovate the playground at the sports grounds.

Successful sports year
After the audit and the discharge of the board of directors, the department heads reported.
The football department is well positioned as the largest department. All teams from the G to the A youth and two men's teams are in play.
The Department tennis won the championship title with the Juniors 18. Nine teams started the new season. With the club championship, summer festival, LK tournament and children's tennis camp, there is a lot going on at the tennis facility.
The table tennis department organized an action day at the elementary school and a taster course during the school holidays. The three youth teams and the adults did well in the matches.
The Gymnastics and Courses Department reported numerous participation in the sports classes, such as step, Zumba and yoga.
The children's gymnastics is considered an important department in which children learn posture and balance and feel a sense of belonging to a club at an early age.
With three teams, participation in the district cup and the organization of a community championship, the stock department a successful year behind them.
In addition, the ski course weekends, the day trip, the ski gymnastics, Nordic walking and the running club of the ski department was again very well received last year.

Many dedicated helpers
All departments thanked the main club for their good cooperation and financial support. "You really are doing a great job," was often heard. Mayor Franz Kröninger also thanked all volunteers and assured them: "You can see that the money is well invested in the sports club." He assured them of the continued financial support from the municipality.
The Thanks to of the executive team to all volunteers and volunteer helpers"Without you, none of this would work. I'm looking forward to another successful and exciting year of sport," said Bucher.

The SVZ currently has 672 members, of which 234 children and adolescents, which in seven departments train. More than 50 coaches and supervisors are active in the association.

90s atmosphere at SV Zack!
SV Zeitlarn organized a masked sports party. With 250 visitors, we brought the 90s back to life.

Tracksuits, checked skirts and neon colors as far as the eye could see: people dressed in 90s style stormed towards the Zeitlarn multi-purpose hall. On their faces: the anticipation of a legendary party evening.

On Saturday, February 23rd, we proved once again that SV Zeitlarn is not only active and successful on the sports field. The full foyer of the multi-purpose hall suggests that SVZ knows how to throw a party. Under the motto "SV Zack goes 90s", the main club brought back the long-missing masked Zeitlarn sports ball. With the aim of reviving the good old days, no expense or effort was spared to bring the anteroom of the multi-purpose hall back to the 90s.

The board of SV Zeitlarn agreed that a masked carnival event in the village was long overdue. Together with a few committed club members, we put the spontaneous idea into action. Within three weeks, we organized the venue, decorations, drinks and food, a bar, a DJ and security. As a team, we created a selection of drinks with highlights true to the motto and designed the bar menu. The organizers advertised the party on Facebook, in the newspaper and by word of mouth. Our goal: to reach both current and potential club members as well as other carnival enthusiasts.

"The 250 visitors definitely exceeded our expectations. It's just nice to see that the preparations were worth it and that the party was so well received," says Kröninger. Chairman Florian Bucher also confirms: "I was particularly pleased that so many Zeitlarn residents of all ages could identify with the music of the 90s and were there at the party. I am also proud of the large number of our members from all departments who took part." This shows on the one hand the connection with the sports club and on the other hand the strong and lived cohesion at SVZ.

At four o'clock the event was slowly drawing to a close. Everyone went home with a grin on their face and the organizers were more than satisfied. One thing is certain: the SVZ 90s party has now firmly established itself in the community's event calendar.

Summary of the New Year's Reception 2019

Saturday, January 26, 2019
At the New Year’s reception, SV Zeitlarn looked to the future.
Even after the generational change, a lot of commitment is required.
A club cannot function without committed volunteers - the board of the Zeitlarn sports club is aware of this. "A huge thank you to everyone present for their commitment and financial support. Without you, the Zeitlarn sports club would not be doing as well as it is currently doing," said Florian Bucher, first chairman of SV Zeitlarn, in his New Year's speech last Sunday.

The New Year's reception was started by the former chairman Herbert Gruber and has now become a tradition in Zeitlarn. It is well received by the club members every year. This year, 80 Zeitlarn residents filled the sports hall. The board uses the New Year's reception to review the past sporting year with those present, to thank all volunteers for their work in the club and to toast the new year.

After a welcome glass of sparkling wine, Florian Bucher began to look back on 2018. Meanwhile, the innkeeper Johann Kötterl and his waitresses handed out white sausages and pretzels to everyone. The food and drinks were at the expense of the sports club, as a thank you to everyone who actively and voluntarily supports the club throughout the year.

implementation of a new structure
In June last year, the annual general meeting took place with a new board election. This resulted in a generational change and the implementation of a new structure. Florian Bucher took over the position of his father Alois Bucher as the first chairman of the sports club. Together with the second chairman Peter Kröninger, he developed a concept for how the board's tasks could be distributed across several shoulders. The aim of the two was and is to focus more on public relations and marketing by dividing the club into different areas. The board team is supported by seven assessors. Together they form a young, motivated team with an average age of 27.

"We want to attract new members by presenting a good club image to the outside world," said Peter Kröninger. SV Zeitlarn has had a new website in recent months, is present on social media and provides information about sporting events in the village in the monthly newsletter. Those responsible have been busy in matters of data protection, member administration and sponsorship. Thanks to very good cooperation with the individual departments and the active support of many members, 2018 was a very successful year for SVZ.

A lot of commitment to the club
"I am particularly impressed by the ingenuity and determination of those responsible to put ideas into practice," said District Administrator Tanja Schweiger in her welcoming speech, praising the work of the board. "I see this as a positive example of volunteer work in the entire district."

With 671 members, including 221 active children and young people, and seven departments, the SV is the largest club in the municipality. Mayor Franz Kröninger confirmed: "Thanks to the diverse commitment and the large number of volunteer members, the club is a significant pillar within the municipality of Zeitlarn." Bucher thanked the members, sponsors and the old board on behalf of the entire board and revealed: "A lot is already planned for 2019." Schweiger also praised: "Here, a long-established club is well prepared for the future."

generational change in the board of directors

Friday, June 1, 2018 - 9:00 p.m. - Sportheim Zeitlarn

InA young team is taking over the reins of our sports club.
The new chairman Florian Bucher succeeds his father Alois.

Generational change at one of the largest clubs in the region. Alois Bucher, who led the fortunes of SV Zeitlarn with great commitment for over eight years, handed over the reins to his son Florian Bucher (1st Board), who together with Peter Kröninger(2nd Board) will tackle new structures and proven goals. At their side in the Board are the newly elected Erik Schlegel (cashier) and Markus Weinfurtner (secretary).

Over 80 members came to our sports center for the annual meeting to cast their vote on the important decision for our club and to review the last eight years together with Alois Bucher.

It is important to meet the new requirements and set new priorities. This includes modern marketing and public relations, as well as data protection, financial management, cooperation, sponsorship and member recruitment.

In the future, however, these extensive tasks will be distributed across several shoulders. In addition to the three existing assessors, four further assessors have been appointed. There will also be one officer each for data protection and voluntary work, as well as three honorary councillors. There was a lot of praise for Alois Bucher, who was appointed honorary chairman.

"An era is coming to an end," praised Mayor Franz Kröninger. "Alois has literally worked day and night for the club."
